Frequently asked questions

Clear answers before you start.

Understand what ActiveHustler does, what the trust signals mean, and how the first Owerri pilot works.

Is ActiveHustler free to join?

Yes. Hustlers can create a free profile, add services, publish proof of work, and begin building visibility without upfront payment.

Can customers request a service that is not listed?

Yes. Customers can describe a custom need in the request flow. The service category helps discovery, but the request itself can capture the specific work required.

Does every profile mean identity-verified?

No. ActiveHustler uses precise verification signals and review states. A profile is not described as identity-verified unless the relevant check has actually been completed.

Can customers see a hustler's phone number immediately?

No. Public search and Passport pages do not expose phone or WhatsApp numbers. Contact sharing follows the applicable booking acceptance rules.

How do bookings work?

A customer opens a structured request, the hustler can respond, and both sides can follow acceptance, work progress, completion, cancellation, or dispute states.

How do reviews strengthen trust?

The platform connects reviews to service activity and work history. Where applicable, verified review status follows completed, PIN-confirmed bookings.

Does ActiveHustler process payments?

Payments are deferred for the first Owerri pilot. The initial focus is trusted discovery, structured bookings, completion, and reputation.

Where is ActiveHustler launching first?

The first launch is focused on Owerri and Imo State so the team can build a useful, moderated local network before expanding.
